Trainer Welding

SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to assist and lead team members in daily activity and give guidelines to each team member in making the proper decision. Use personal knowledge and experience in the manufacturing setting to support team members in gaining the knowledge and training to perform their job.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extensive periods.  Work includes but is not limited to bending, standing, stretching, walking, talking, seeing & hearing.  Must be capable of lifting and handling up to 33 lbs.  Position will work in a typical manufacturing environment where hearing protection and other personal protective equipment must be worn at all times. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Participate in the planning process including advising teams and creating related documentation such as FMEA’s, Flowcharts and Control Plans. Assist the TST-INC. problem solving process by participating in or leading 8D and CIT teams. Assist in developing sampling procedures and forms or instruction for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Maintain and update all documents related to facility.

 Assist in the development process. Comply with and write training material and conduct training sessions on manufacturing activities. Present/ teach classes with power point presentations and review training material. Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and evaluating knowledge obtained; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of experience in the Manufacturing Field (Press Technology) and 2-3 years in experience in secondary machining operations • demonstrated ability in mathematics, analysis, precision measurement, industrial practices, computer literacy or equivalent combination of experience and education

Machine Operator-Stamping
SUMMARY: Operate press and tandem machines to achieve required production requirements  
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work includes but is not limited to bending, standing, stretching, walking, talking, seeing & hearing • Employee must be capable of lifting and handling up to 33 pounds • Position works in a typical manufacturing environment with a moderate noise level • Personal protective equipment is required • Team work is extremely important in this line of work • Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment • Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with detailed objects • Able to work rotating shifts • Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing ​
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. However, we prefer the following • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus • Must have exceptional problem solving abilities • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team • Must be detail oriented and organized 

Machine Operator-Welding
SUMMARY: Operate spot welding machines according to specifications applying knowledge of machining methods
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work includes but is not limited to bending, standing, stretching, walking, talking, seeing & hearing • Employee must be capable of lifting and handling up to 33 pounds • Position works in a typical manufacturing environment with a moderate noise level • Personal protective equipment is required • Team work is extremely important in this line of work • Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment • Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with detailed objects • Able to work rotating shifts. • Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing  ​
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. However, we prefer the following  • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus • Must have exceptional problem solving abilities • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team • Must be detail oriented and organized  

Stamping Set Upper  
SUMMARY: Set up and operate stamping machines according to specifications applying knowledge of machining methods
WORKING CONDITIONS: Set conditions on press machine using pre-tried settings from condition sheets • Load and unload dies from press machine • Complete production based on kanban production • Must perform quality checks on parts • Troubleshoot press and die issues • Document production results • Load and unload coils • Required to material handle including operating an overhead crane • Team work is extremely important in this line of work • Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment.• Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with detailed objects • Able to work rotating shifts • Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Welding Set Upper 
SUMMARY: Set up and operate welding machines according to specifications applying knowledge of machining methods 
WORKING CONDITIONS:  Set conditions on welding machines using pre-tried settings from condition sheets • Change jig and tips on welding machines • Operate a spot welding machine • Complete production based on kanban production • Must perform quality checks on parts • Troubleshoot jigs, nut-feeder, and welding issues • Document production results • Required to material handle • Required to perform destructive testing on the parts • Load components • Team work is extremely important in this line of work • Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment • Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with detailed objects • Able to work rotating shifts • Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
